A Welcome From Our President

Welcome to our website! We are the Zeta Phi chapter of Delta Gamma. DG was founded in 1873 and is one of the oldest women's Greek letter organizations in the country. Based on the principles of integrity, responsibility, and intellectual growth, membership in Delta Gamma fosters high ideals of friendship and character among its over 210,000 initiates in 147 chapters throughout the United States and Canada. Our Zeta Phi chapter, founded in 1994 by 9 women, is currently home to over 100 of the warmest, most enthusiastic, and most fun ladies you will ever meet!

We DG's are renown for our leadership on campus and in service to the community. We were the first sorority to have a space to call our own, and boasted the highest participation rate of the Greek organizations at Relay For Life in Spring 2011! Our members are also some of the most impressive individuals on campus - from performers, to PBHA directors, athletes, computer programmers, leaders of organizations like Women In Business and the Undergraduate Council... there's never a dull moment in the life of a "Delta Glam." Check out our campus involvement page for the super long list of our activities.

Our alumnae have an impressive list of accomplishments as well: Fulbright fellowships, attending the most prestigious graduate schools in the world, working in Fortune 500 firms, and living our motto of "Do Good" as Teach For America volunteers are just some of the accolades of our Zeta Phi grads. No matter where you go, you're sure to find a DG leading the pack!

Delta Gammas pride ourselves on our dedication to philanthropy and doing good. Our annual Anchor Slam basketball tournament and Milk and Cookies fundraiser support Foundation Finding Blindness and Service for Sight. DG's also volunteer hundreds of service hours throughout the year at Perkins School for the Blind, and attend Vision Walk every October. Through our efforts, and those of our sisters around the world, we hope to make reducing vision impairment a reality.

We've saved the best for last - our sisterhood! Whether we're dancing the night away at our fabulous formal and date events every semester or having a chick flick and baking session in The Cove, DG is our home away from home where we have found friends for life. In addition to our annual off-campus overnight retreat, some of our sisterhood invents include teas, study breaks, Berryline excursions, dinners in Boston, and casual get-togethers in the d-hall. If you're in the mood for a movie, ice skating on the Frog Pond, or a trip to the ballet, call up your sisters! Everything is better with Delta Gamma!

We're so glad you dropped anchor here, and please contact us with any questions!

Sincerely,
Carolina Ragolta
